2014: Professional Artists Visit Ballitore
GYT Turns 15! To celebrate our anniversary, we hold a Joining The Dots project with workshops covering art forms from dance to architecture and script writing. It is an important week of professional development for us.
During this time we invite Kilcullen Youth Club and MAD Youth Theatre from Dundalk to join in our celebrations. In October, the Seeking The Púca festival led by Dee Burke and Jed Murray continues to explore our connection with ancient Ireland and superstitions.
We are invited to perform Cloud Busting, a play about bullying and peer pressure, at the SCP National In-Service Teachers Conference in City West, and later bring the production into primary schools in Kildare and Wicklow.
