2015: Another Tradition

A trip to Tallaght Children's Hospital for performance in the Outpatients Department. GYT started performing in the hospital in 2005; we stopped during Covid-19 lockdowns and resumed in 2023.

“We were delighted to welcome Griese Youth Theatre back into the hospital again. The children, parents and staff thoroughly enjoyed the performance this year, it was really entertaining! It helped keep some nervous children’s minds off their appointments and they definitely made everyone’s day with their performance! The performers and helpers were all very professional and great actors. I only wish GYT could come to the hospital more often!”

We held weekend of workshops with Kilcullen Youth Club entitled The Social Self which would be followed by Mindfield, developing skills to promote positive mental health.
