2003: We’re Going Places
Riverbank Arts Centre, Newbridge and Kilcullen Town Hall Theatre
Our Sieve ain’t big,
But we don’t care a button!
We don’t care a fig!
In a Sieve we’ll go to sea!
– from The Jumblies by Edward Lear
Our first time in the Riverbank theatre space as we participate in Kildare (later WYETH) Festival of Youth Theatre. These festivals would continue to run until 2013. They are an opportunity to meet like-minded people, to learn new skills and have fun.
Productions continue in Crookstown Hall:
Voyage of the Jumblies
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs:
‘Ey, Giuseppe’, becomes a catch phrase.
We hire a dress for Snow White, she is so mesmerized by how fancy it is she seems to have become completely stagestruck by the end of Act 1!
The Monster that Ate 3B by Randall Lewton
All My Love
2003 is the year of our first film project. All My Love, with Eamon Little and The Flying Film Squad. We are filming in Mullaghmast, it is very cold and we’re so grateful for Nicola O’Neill’s hot dinners and the community support.
